This video balun allows for Power, Video, and Audio to be transfered over a single Cat5 or Cat6 cable up to 500 feet using a standard 12V power adapter that comes with your camera.  If your camera uses a 24V power adapter, the range is double -- up to 300m!  The advantages of using the balun include longer distances, less expensive wire, and easier wire runs! In many cases, installers can use an existing Cat5 or Cat6 cable saving the time and money of pulling a new wire.
