  1. Can I call you by telephone?

    No. With the exception of calling customers in advance to coordinate the delivery, we don't offer any customer service by telephone. To contact us, you'll have to use email. Our email address is: info@Tico911.com

  2. Do you have a store or office where I can go see the products myself or to speak with you in person?

    No. We don't have a store or office to receive customers. We only sell via the website and we deliver most orders the same business day...directly to the address you provide on your account. And, we always call ahead of time to confirm the delivery location and time with the customer.

  3. Can I pay by CASH on Delivery?

    Yes. You always have to register your purchase here on the site, but if your delivery address is in San José, Heredia, Alajuela or other nearby areas, then yes, you can pay by CASH -- in U.S. dollars or in colones -- on delivery. Up to 75% of our clients pay by CASH.

    If your delivery address is outside the area mentioned above, then you'll have to pay in advance by deposit to our BNCR account or with a credit card on the Internet using PayPal. In either case, the system will give you all the necessary information for making the payment (by deposit or PayPal) at the time you register the purchase.

  4. What payment methods do you accept?

    You can pay by:

    1. cash on delivery (in colones or U.S. dollars) if the delivery address is within the area of San José (and other nearby areas) from Tres Rios to Ciudad Colón (east-west) and Alajuela to Aserrí (north-south).

    2. deposit to our Banco Nacional account.

    3. credit card using the PayPal system on the Internet. (We only accept credit cards via PayPal.)

  5. If I register the order here on the website right now, when will you deliver?

    It depends on the time, but if we see a purchase registered in the system before 1:30-2:00pm, and if the delivery address is within San José, Heredia, Alajuela or other nearby areas, we almost always make the delivery the same business day, and we always call the customer first to coordinate with them. After 1:30-2:00pm, it will depend on the number of deliveries already scheduled for that day, but the delivery will probably be scheduled for the following business day.

    If your delivery address is outside the area mentioned above, then we'll use the EMS Courier service or a transport/freight company recomended by you. (Note: When registering your purchase here on the site, there's a space for "additional comments." If you have the information, please include 1) the company's name, 2) their phone number, and 3) their exact address here in San José.)

    Using the EMS Courier service, the delivery could take 1-3 business days, depending on the location, and they'll deliver pretty much anywhere in the country. Using a transport/freight service, the delivery could be the same business day in some cases or 1-2 days later, depending on the location. And in this case, you'd have to go to their offices to pick up the package.

    Note: Due to the driving restrictions in San José, we only deliver on the North and West side of San José on Tuesdays -- including the areas of Escazú, Santa Ana, Ciudad Colón, San Antonio de Belén, Alajuela, Heredia and possibly other areas, depending on how difficult it would be to get there without entering the restricted zone.

  6. How can I buy from you?

    To start, you just have to find the products you want, using the links for each category of products we sell, located at the top of the page. After finding a product you'd like to buy, you just have to specify the quantity you'd like to buy and then press the "Add to Cart" button. From there, you can continue looking for other products to buy until you have everything you need in your shopping cart. And, on the shopping cart page, you can always adjust the quantity of any product and then press the "Update Cart" button. Or, if you've decided not to buy a certain product, you just have to change the quantity to "0" and then update your cart. In this case, the item will disappear from your cart.

    So, if your cart is ready, the next step will be to register the purchase in the system. To do this, you have to go to your shopping cart and press the "Buy Now" button. On the next page, you have to type in your e-mail address and then create a password you'll always use to access your account or make future purchases. Continuing to the next page, you'll see a form where you have to type in your name, delivery address, phone number, etc. and at the bottom of the page, choose between the three payment options. If you've filled in all your delivery and contact information and selected your preferred payment method, you just have to continue to the next page where you have to confirm all the details mentioned above, including the contents of your shopping cart, the price, your contact information, etc. If everything looks good, you can press the "Buy Now" button to register the purchase in the system.

    Minutes later, we'll both receive e-mails from the system confirming all the details of your purchase. If you've chosen the option to pay by bank deposit, that e-mail will also include the details of our bank account in Banco Nacional.

  7. Do you sell used, refurbished or factory recertified merchandise?

    No. All of the products we sell are new and come in the original packaging directly from the manufacturers or authorized distributors. We never sell "used," "refurbished" or "factory recertified" merchandise.

  8. Do you charge for delivery?

    Yes. We charge a small flat fee of $3.00 per delivery, regardless of the location or the number of items in your order.

  9. Do the prices here on the site already include the 13% sales tax?

    Yes.

  10. Do you give receipts?

    Yes. All sales include government authorized receipts.

  11. How long is the warranty?

    We only accept returns for defective merchandise. To apply the warranty, you have 90 days from the date of your purchase to contact us by email to inform us of the problem. We can be contacted by email at: info@Tico911.com Once confirmed, you will receive authorization and instructions for making the return. Any defective item must be returned in its original box or packaging together with any corresponding accesories, manuals or software, etc. along with the original receipt.
